I decided to go on Janet’s training because, although I can talk to people easily, I was struggling to get them to sign up to my packages – they would agree, but wouldn’t actually sign on the dotted line. Also I didn’t want to be pushy and Janet doesn’t ‘do’ pushy. I came away with lots of ideas and now I know you have to ask the right questions, because if your customers are interested then they will say ‘yes’.
I am also much more confident at negotiating price.
I would definitely recommend this course (and I already have!). It’s so difficult to know how to sell when you are a new business starting out – you’re not taught how to do it at school.
The thing that has made a real difference is Janet’s closing techniques. I now have a technique to use, so I know exactly what to say to customers to get to a ‘yes’ – AND IT WORKS!

I attended Janet’s training ‘I’m not a Salesperson’ in March and I would recommend everyone to go on it. She gave me a valuable insight into selling – it was motivating and a great refresher too. When it comes to sales and selling, it is a broad topic but Janet made it simple. I recently attended Janet’s “I’m not a Sales Person” course, and boy was it helpful! Working in marketing, I’m great at getting people to contact me, but closing the sale was always hard. Building rapport is super important, but I didn’t know how to get the trickier customers on board. Janet has helped build my confidence in sales – and my closing rate! If you don’t know about the sales funnel – you need to talk to Janet!
